Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in dramas on television as young as the age of 16. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated films that feature models. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several important national and international projects. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, Greek drama film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she is a jury member at both and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
